Description: This is a sport report. This is about a sport I chose and found out what that sport is about. My sport was Ice Hockey.

Picture of the Ice Hockey field:
- structured in mid 1800s in eastern part of Canada.
- March 3,1875 McGrill defeated Captain Fred.
- Two years later, McGrill formed first organized hockey team.
- The first ice hockey game was played at prince's skating club in 1902.
- Three years later, the LIHG was founded in Paris, France.
- The Three Main Rule:
- Off(or two-line)pass- It's when a player passes the puck from the defense mode and passes to a team mate from the red line zone.
- Offsides - when any player in attacking team go before the puck over the defending team's blue line.
- Iceing: It's when it touches the other defending goalie.
Object of the game:
- The object of the game in hockey is to have fun and at the same time you try to win.
- In order to win you have to score more than other team.
- It's exactly like what other team do in order to win you have to score a lot.
- In hockey points are scored by pushing in the puck to the other goalie who is not in your team.
Field of play:
- There are some a place where there is referee.
- goal grease 8 ft
- end zone face off spot and circle 15ft
Goal:
- It's only when the puck completely passes the line.
- It's like when you want to score it's the place you want to shoot to get a point.
- You have shoot where there is net in the goal.
Ball:
- In hockey, they use a ball called puck.
- Puck is used in hockey, because it can slip easily in the ice.
- In the ice it can't be a round ball or too flat one so, puck is used in the ice hockey.
Team:
- On each ice hockey team, there is 6 player.
- 3 in the forward
- 2 in the defense
- goalie
- There is basically 20 left
- There can be 40 or more
Penalties:
- Minor penalties - two minute - it's called for boarding, charging, cross-checking, elbowing, holding, hooking, high-sticking, interference, roughing, slashing, spearing, tripping and man who is engaged in sport conduct.
Major Penalty:
- Five Minutes- Called for fighting or when minor penalties are committed with deliberate intent to injure. Major penalties for slashing, spearing, high sticking, butt ending and cross- checking carry automatic game misconducts.
Misconduct:
- Ten Minutes- Called for various form of unsportsmanlike behavior or when a player incurs a second major penalty in a game. This is a penalty against an individual and not a team, so a substitute is permitted.
Penalty Shot:
- A free shot, unopposed except for the goalie, given to a player who is illegally impeded from behind when in possession of the puck with no opponent between him and the goal except the goalie. THe team which commits the offense is not penalized beyond the penalty shot, whether succeeds or not.
Delayed Penalty:
- The whistle is delayed until the penalized team regains back of the puck.
Progressive Punishment:
- They get warnings like green card, yellow card, and red card.
- This only happens when you do fouls or other movements your not suppose to do.
